Easter

I'm way behind on posting so I'll make this short and sweet. We had a great time celebrating Easter with family and friends. After 6 egg hunts we have more candy than we could eat in a year and three kids that are masters at egg hunting!

With a neighborhood of 2 year olds we had to have a neighborhood egg hunt!

At our church egg hunt the kids played games and had a lot of fun!

At Aunt Dee's we had two egg hunts with the our cousins one that afternoon and another one after dark with glow in the dark eggs!

Frisky Frog Easter Party

Catherine and I were "party moms" for the class Easter party. We prepared goldfish carrots, butterfly grapes, cookies and bunny cups for juice.  This was the first class party that I attended so I had fun seeing the kids interact with friends and listen to their teachers.  

We also made these for their friends to take home

Bluebonnet Pictures 2012

It's been difficult to get pictures of our trio lately but I still wanted pictures in the bluebonnets. We went after church and the kids complained that "its to bright" and "it hurts my eyes" so we thought we would try again later. We made it back right before sun down, shortly after we started taking pictures a train came along and the kids got scared. The train wasn't that close but it caused a big distraction. We were still able to snap a few pictures that turned out decent. HAPPY SPRING EVERYONE!

Bryce covered his ears and kept saying "it loud", it took us a while to convince him to put his hands down. Addison and Collin cried!

Collin said, "I got three footballs!"

Addison said, "Mommy got me some clothes"

Bryce said, "I played bubbles with my boots on!"

Rodeo Day

Thursday the kids had a Rodeo at their school. It was a fun day that they were able to wear their cowboy attire which we don't have much of so that consisted of boots! They participated in the wagon races and stick horse races and were beeming with excitement as they raced around the fellowship hall.  Collin thought it was fun that he could wear his boots to school and he slowed down in the middle of his stick horse race to make sure we were watching. Addison had trouble racing in her boots, she fell twice during her stick horse race but got right back up and kept on going! Bryce had the biggest smile on his face the whole time! We were so proud of all of them!

Frisky Frog News

I have to admit when I heard the class would be sending home a weekly newsletter with things the kids say I was a little worried! The first week there were few words: 

Addison said, "My Mommy!"

Bryce said, "My Daddy!"

Collin said, "A puppy dog at home!"

(Several of the kids mentioned their dog's and animals so I don't know if this was a peer presure statement or if he was talking about the many puppy dogs in our neighborhood).

They talk so much at home I was a little shocked with their limited statements! As the weeks have gone on they have slowly said a little more. In this weeks news:

Collin said, "I put my boots on and play guitars!"

Addison said, "I wear my boots!"

Bryce said, "I eat snack!"

This weeks statements definitely showed each of their personalities a little better and made me laugh!
